History of Dingo

The Founder

Dingo Australia is an Australian family owned company originating from the country town of Dalby, 2 hours outside of Brisbane, QLD.

Dingo was revolutionised by Gary Briggs, who purchased the rights to the mini loader in 1991. Since then, the original design, which was no more than a motorised wheel barrow with hydraulics, has been drastically changed in order to create today's world wide success story of the iconic Australian brand Dingo.

Gary is a "Bush Engineer" who has worked and owned all sorts of earthmoving equipment.  He is an operator who knows how to shift dirt, and therefore knows how to make Dingos work better than other manufacturers.  The proof is "in the pudding", as they say. Gary is still very "hands on" at the factory and nothing changes without his involvement.  As Managing Director, he personally oversees research and development.
