DINGO AUSTRALIA TEAM UP WITH BRIGGS & STRATTON
Iconic names Dingo Australia and Briggs & Stratton have joined forces to form a powerful new partnership, with Briggs & Stratton products to be stocked in Dingo Australia branches nationwide.
The new partnership builds on a successful existing relationship between these two industry powerhouses, with Briggs & Stratton already a long-term supplier for Dingo Australia.
Briggs & Stratton is the world’s largest producer of air-cooled petrol engines for outdoor power equipment, specialising in generators, pressure washers, lawn and garden equipment, and related accessories.
Dingo has long been a trusted name on Australian building sites and is a proudly Australian owned company that manufactures and hand-assembles its machines in its state of the art factory in Dalby, Queensland.
The complimentary products offered by both companies make the partnership a natural fit, combining Dingo’s market leading Mini Diggers with Briggs & Stratton’s wide range of outdoor power equipment.
Robert Mellor, Category Manager – Commercial Product of Briggs and Stratton Australasia,
“We have chosen to partner with Dingo by extending their product range with Briggs and Stratton products, utilising Dingo’s substantial resources and expertise so that both companies can maximise the opportunities.”
“Two powerful companies working together with great benefits.”
The partnership also paves the way for Dingo Australia to gain penetration into the turf management industry and in addition has the company positioned as a one-stop-shop for many existing customers who make use of machines and equipment from both leading brands.
Dingo Australia Managing Director, Gary Briggs, believes the partnership will be well received by existing Dingo customers and also opens new markets for his company.
“Most Dingo operators would require a pressure washer or generator on their truck, so for them our partnership with Briggs and Stratton is a win-win. But it changes our being restricted to the landscape formation industry.
“With the Briggs and Stratton owned Ferris Zero Turn Mowers now in our range, we can also be truly involved in the garden maintenance industry. Ferris is by far the leading mower of its type, with a patented suspension that makes mowing a breeze. My wife loves her Ferris and will never again sit on anything else. And I simply had to do as I was told.” Gary jokes.
“The opportunity to enter new markets with Briggs and Stratton is something that excites us as well. Our product lines are very complimentary and having our machines showcased alongside Briggs and Stratton equipment will present new market opportunities for us.” concluded Gary.
The partnership was launched at the recent HRIA Convention and Exhibition in Perth.
