DINGO PROVIDE INNOVATIVE FACTORY SOLUTION

Australian paver manufacturer, Edenstone Masonry, have set the benchmark for innovative masonry production through the introduction of 3 Dingo mini diggers into their Australian factory.  The innovative use of the machines in the factory environment is providing significant financial and time savings for the family company, catching the attention of other Australian manufacturers.

Producing modern paving products for home and commercial applications, Edenstone Masonry pavers can be seen adorning some of Australia’s most beautiful homes.  Producing thousands of pavers every year, the masonry production process has traditionally been very labour intensive, inspiring Edenstone to look for a solution to save time and expense.

Australian made for Australian conditions, the Dingo has been a favourite labour saving tool with tradesmen, landscapers and earthmovers for 2 decades.  Dingo Australia offer premium machinery that is compact in size, big on power, and an array of attachments for factory applications for companies like Edenstone.

The paver production process is complex, involving the mixture of sands, additives, colour and accelerants, followed by the setting of moulds and firing.  It requires the movement of large quantities of heavy materials with accuracy and care.  The Dingo mini digger provides the convenience of a stand on mini digger enabling the operator to dismount at any time to check quantities.  Edenstone is focused on providing a consistent quality product and the Dingo enables staff to accurately control material amounts with detail ensuring excellent results.

The overriding benefit of the Dingo mini digger to Edenstone is its ability to complete the work of a labourer in significantly less time with the same accuracy and care.  This enables Edenstone to save significant costs on expensive hand labour while increasing weekly production.  Whether it is moving raw materials like sand and cement powder, or stacking pallets ready for delivery the Dingo has provided speed and reliability.

Nigel Steeden from Edenstone Masonry said the Dingo machines provide production efficiency and convenience, enabling more production in less time.

“At Edenstone we aim to deliver a good service and a consistent product above all else,” said Nigel.

“We do several different sizes of paver, ranging from a small 400mm through to coble stone and edging – it is a very physical process and quite demanding on our staff because all the pavers have to be stacked onto pallets by hand,” said Nigel.

“The Dingo has made our life significantly easier particularly in regard to production efficiency – we can simply get more done in an average day thanks to the capacity the Dingo provides.  This efficiency converts to a time and money saving which is good news for any business,” said Nigel.

“The other key factor is convenience – you can jump on or off the Dingo at any time and it can fit into most spaces, making it easy for our operators,” said Nigel.

“Above all the Dingos are very reliable, giving me peace of mind so I can get on with running the business,” concluded Nigel.
