DOMESTIC BLITZ FUELS SPIKE IN RENOVATIONS

Channel Nine’s hit show Domestic Blitz is providing a boost to the Australian home renovation industry as home owners are inspired into action.  Following its debut in 2008, Domestic Blitz has become one of Australia’s most watched shows providing house and garden makeovers to brighten the lives of families who have been doing it tough through sickness or hardship.  The show has proved incredibly popular since its inception consistently rating amongst Australia’s top 10 programs and produced a reported spike in home renovation activity.

One of the long-time members of the home renovation industry, Dingo Australia, has reported a spike in enquiries since appearing on Domestic Blitz, a positive indication for others in the industry.

The Dingo mini digger is known for being the stand-on, front loader that is small enough to fit through a conventional doorway but powerful enough to complete the toughest labour jobs, making it a popular choice for home renovation.

Dingo Australia Marketing Manager, Clare Simmons is anticipating that the growth in enquiries is an indication of increased activity across the wider home renovation industry.

“Domestic Blitz has set a new benchmark for home and garden renovation on television.  The stories and the makeovers are both emotionally moving and exciting,” said Ms Simmons.

“The show provides inspiration for suburban families to renovate, stimulating activity for companies providing the essential renovation services and equipment,” concluded Ms Simmons.

Dingo Australia provided increased support to Domestic Blitz in 2009 to ensure the continued success of the popular show.  Dingo Australia provided Dingo machines to be used in every episode, completing a host of jobs.
