TOWNSVILLE DIGS DINGO
An unforeseen response from Townsville tradesmen and renovators has followed the recent Open Day at Dingo Australia Townsville branch. The stand- on mini digger is experiencing a surge in popularity as growth in renovating continues amongst Townsville home owners. The Dingo is a popular choice as the stand on earthmover is small enough to fit in a backyard, and even a regular doorway, making it perfect for renovating.
The Dingo is the market leading Australian mini digger capable of supporting an array of attachments from post hole diggers and jackhammers, through to cement mixers and turf cutters, offering popular versatility.
The Open Day provided visitors with the unique opportunity to get dirty behind the controls of the mini diggers. The open day also featured the North Queensland release of the new Dingo K9-5, the largest and most powerful Dingo mini digger ever, built specifically for the harsh Australian conditions.
Dingo Australia Townsville Branch Manager Peter Smethurst said the majority of interest following the Open Day has come from people involved in the home renovation industry.
“You don’t need a licence to drive a Dingo making it really accessible for weekend warriors and tradesmen who need to save time and money on man labour,” said Peter.
“A Dingo makes a host of difficult renovating jobs a breeze whether it is removing stumps and cement in the backyard through to removing walls or digging post holes for the deck,” said Peter.
“People who are coming into the showroom often say they saw the Dingo in action on television shows such as Domestic Blitz or are looking an alternative to large expensive earthmoving equipment,” said Peter.
“Improving the value of your home through renovation activity is still very popular in Townsville,” concluded Peter.
Dingo mini digger test drives are currently available at Dingo Australia Townsville Branch 98 Dearness Street, Garbutt.
