I bought a second hand dingo and have no idea as to it's model. It is a green unit with black arms on front end loader/bucket. Dingo is written on the loader arms. A registration plate has nodel no: 2B16E 6.2/1.9 CR21. Need to replace a hose but I can't quote the model.

It's difficult to buy parts when I don't even know what model it is. I can't find any pictures of past models on the Internet. Any help most appreciated.

Lifting a dingo

G'day. Looking for clues or tips on getting a dingo off the ground to change tyres, adjust chains etc. I did lift all 4 wheels off the ground by tipping the bucket straight down but was not happy with the effect on the bucket let alone the arms. I have it off the ground now with blocks of wood under the bucket in the level position, under the standing platform and the under front tyres as i need to change the rear tyres. Does anyone have a method or idea to keep all 4 wheels off the ground for an extended period if needed? I could not find a 'hydraulic dingo lifter' in the attachments section . Thanks.

Hi All
What is the going rate at the moment. I have been on $70 + GST for a few years and am thinking of going up to $80 + GST next month.I am in a rural area so have to be a bit carefull to not go to high.I would rather be busy with a month or so work in front and never have to advertise than price myself out of work.
Make OK $$ on the current rate but costs are always going up.
I run a K94 Pro, Takeuchi TB108 and 4x4 Isuzu NPS300 tipper, tandem trailer with the usual gear + a couple of cable locaters whatever I am on or using is the same rate other than my rock breaker and stumpgrinder which is $20 more an hour.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Cheers Adrian
Chillingham Mini Diggers

Nice to see the *##&ing rain again!!!!!!!!!Diary is a mess yet again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last edited by Adrian (2010-04-20 19:04:54)

Sometimes you can catch a lucky break! I'm planning on doing a rebuild on my trencher. Got the sprocket done whilst I was away on the cruise. A mate has sourced me the steel for the wear plate. Got it a metre long as I intend to run it under the gear housing as well. Dropped into Dingo yesterday to pay a bill and picked up a new nose wheel assembly whilst there.
How lucky can you get.....Used the trencher this morning to cut back an area for a retainer wall to go in, before ducking out to Tamborine (at least a 2 hour turn around to and from Dingo Branch) to do a quick electrical trench. No sooner has the chain it the ground, I notice the nose wheel wobbling away. NO DRAMAS I says to the customer.....got a brand newie right here in the truck!

Last edited by "The Guru" (2010-08-05 18:42:59)
