Hello all

Is there a market for non-marking tyres. That is, when you turn around on concrete you don't leave your signature. I know you can get thin solid tyres but they won't be much good in sand. What do people think? Do you do work where a non-marking tyre would leave a good impression?

Good to have the forum back.

Ant

Guys,
I believe that I've discovered a need for something stronger than alcohol! With my excavator still in surgery now dragging on for three weeks. Kubota's have been lending me secondhand machines to keep me either in or out of trouble depending on your viewpoint. I don't know what fool thought of having multiple control patterns but I hope he's in pain at the moment. I had to use an excavator pattern machine for this last week with my first job on it using my breaker, I could sort of do an OK job doing bucket work provided that I kept my tongue on the left side of my mouth, but for christ's sake when it comes to positioning the point of the breaker where you want it and keep it there.....I really should have sat under the trees and had a quiet cry! Now today, I was using both machines. I'm horrified to admit I was doing it better in excavator mode, but still no way near as good as it used to be a couple of weeks ago. I think today has made the decision for me and finally admit defeat and change over once and for all. I never had the courage before, because it was too hard but necessity has forced me to do it. I've now just got to find the time to change the Dingo backhoe over, it's just hard to find the spare 5 minutes well really 10 if you include making a coffee first. My mate's got a four stick backhoe, out of the 'bobcat mates' there's a mixture of New Holland pilot control, Bobcat, Toyota and Case. Mr Manufactures, could you please get your s**t together!!

Regards,
Richard
www.dialadingo.com.au

G'Day Guys,
Have just bought another K94 (second hand, very low hours) for my hire company. The machine came with some attachments that I do not wish to put into the fleet. One being a hardly used stump grinder. Check out pictures attached. Hardly any paint missing on attachment, teeth are still perfectly round. I'm asking $3,000 inc gst (Flat price for dingo forum guys until 5.00pm Tuesday 6/7/10 then bid on ebay). This attachment will also be listed on ebay shortly with a starting bid of $3,000. I also have a near new Atlas Copco jackhammer complete with solid narrow wheels to be listed shortly, has done approx 1 hour work if that. For more details please ring me on 0418 438 633. I'm located in Coffs Harbour NSW.

Bent crowd ram and top pin???

Hi Guys
Just purchased a low hr K94 ser 3, all good.
Last Thursday, pulled up and put in skip, about 75 sq mtrs of concrete, still all good.
Saturday, cruisey job, level inside a new garage for concrete, 10 minutes into job using teeth as rippers to break up high spots, crowd ram turns into plasticine. Not good.
Ram was bent to about 45 degrees and bent the top pin at the same time (removing a bent top pin is something I never want to do again, what a mission). As mentioned on a previous post it did have slight bend at the clevis.
Monday, take bent bits to local (Dandenong)(VIC) yes the dingos breed south of Queensland) dingo branch, mechanic can explain bent clevis (Not a lot of clearance between clevis and mount plate) this I can undestand. But he could see no reason for the ram to turn into a banana.

Any input would be appreciated

Cheers Neil
