Topic: Leveller with Bolt on Rippper

Hi just a quick note about the leveller being able to have a ripper tyne bolted to its side. There is probably plenty of contractors out there that have used this set up before! An idea for those who haven't.

Basically the leveller can be very handy, once the ripper has been bolted to the side section. if you have a job that requires  say rip down the side of a fence line in the installation of re-tic pipe etc etc.Great in severing any feeder roots that tend to cross over from one property to another. A lot easier in getting the trenching shovel to bog out after a rip line has been done. The leveller is wider than the machine,eg this is now off set from the fence,we all now what its like when your machine gets  to close to super six of colour bond fencing after the ground has slightly subsided. Can turn into a little expensive exercise, damaged fence panels and sheets, and a possibility of some side damage to your Dingo. Control your ground speed using the flow divider to take oil away from the drive circuit and reduce your reversing ground speed.

Give it shot next time, you plan to install a small service trench etc down the side of a shed/fence etc. Cheers From WA

Is the Leveller that yellow thing in my back garden?? Seriously...good tip Hamish. Have you got any for ripping through palm roots? Last time I done that one of my rippers ended up like a twisted stick o' licorice!!

Not a bad idea however the loader will not pull straight and the leveller will end up bent at some stage.Would be better with a multitool plate attachment with a single blade ripper .

Re: Leveller with Bolt on Rippper

Another job I found useful with the spreader/carryall was in building block walls.  Simply cut a piece of 19mm ply to the shape of the carryall with little recess in the back edge so that it doesn't slide all over the place and away you go.  You chuck the ply on top of the carryall whenever you want to move blocks around.

One of my landscaping clients and I built a wall in no time by loading a dozen or so blocks onto the spreader, shooting around to the wall, place the blocks and back to the pallet for more.  Much quicker than with 4 or 5 in a wheel barrow.  Of course, you chuck the bucket on and fill with gravel every now and then as you go.  The spreader with the ply on it also makes a nice little table for smoko and lunch!
