Topic: Shipping out of USA

Hi Guys,
I'm looking at getting an item out of North Carolina. Has anybody else imported something from the good ol US of A that was too big for USPS and needed to be "shipped"? All avenues I've tried so far...the freight costs MORE than the item. Need to find a cheap shipping agent. Any contacts?

Ha Ha Ha. No Gary, nothing sinister like that. Much prefer the homegrown breed.

I'm looking to bring in an American contraption, add a touch of Aussie enginuity, to make it do something it was not designed to do, so I can export it right on back to them...bigger and better!

Try GEEZERS Classic Garage on the Gold Coast. They have rates from 400$ per cubic metre and have containers on the go from Cali all the time . Mate had an Engine shipped from Mid West on airfreight for about $1500

If the piece of equipment you want is small, i get a couple of cars a year imported from houston, so you can put it in with one of my cars.
