1991

Briggs Family Acquires Dingo. Dingo actually started in the early 1980s as a 10hp machine that more resembled a hydraulic wheelbarrow than a modern day Dingo. After several owners and reincarnations in Dalby with the Briggs family.

1992

A Dingo 600 was born with a 13hp Honda

1993

First Dingo 800 incorporating flow divider to control trenching speed. 16hp

1995

Dingo release the incredibly popular Dingo 950 with the first twin pump hydraulic system on any earthmoving equipment.

1995

Dingo goes to the USA. The Dingo 950 was a hit with the American landscaping market and quickly outgrew our Dalby manufacturing facility.

Dingo goes to NZ

2002

Dingo launches the K9-3 model

2002

Dingo launches the K9-4 model. The K9-4 was the first mini digger to feature a 25hp diesel engine, 4 wheel motors (not chains) and cast steel chassis and arms.

2003

Dingo builds the 3000th Dingo

2003

Dingo develops the first remote controlled mini digger for high risk applications.

2004

Dingo goes to Switzerland

2004

Dingo builds the 4000th Dingo

2005

Dingo goes to South Africa and gains popularity among contractors and the mining industry with Dingos working underground in gold and platinum mines

2005

Dingo builds the 1000th K9-4

2006

Dingo goes to South Korea

2006

Dingo goes to Europe

2007

Dingo staff total 180 and produce 885 Dingo

2008

Dingo goes to Chile. Remote controlled Dingos are used in underground copper mining.

2009

Dingo launches the CONTRACTOR. The World’s, most powerful mini digger. Featuring 27hp Yanmar power, 3400 psi & 76l/m hydraulic system and 3 hydraulic pumps.

2014

Dingo builds the 9000th Dingo

2016

Dingo celebrates 25 years of innovation with the release of the 25th anniversary model K9-4.

2017

Dingo releases the new ‘Ozzy’ Dingos.
